Additionally, he will delve into the 2019 initiative for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, a binding proposal for an immediate phase-out of fossil fuels based on the principles of climate and social justice, and the safeguarding of human rights.

Programme of the Event | 08.30 – 10.15 (GMT+1)

Institutional Opening

Introduce by Prof. Salvatore Pappalardo (Professor of the course, Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering – ICEA)

Lectio Magistralis – Keynote Speaker: Prof. Carlos Larrea (Director of the Área Ambiente y Sustentabilidad, Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador and member of the FFNPT Steering Committee)

Coordinated by Prof. Massimo De Marchi (Coordinator of the Centre of Excellence on Climate Justice)

TO PARTICIPATE TO THE EVENT – FILL IN THE FORM

The event is free and open to all who wish to attend and participate.

/ Download the flyer of the Event

The Centre of Excellence on Climate Justice is delighted to inform you and extend an invitation to the «Lectio Magistralis» of the course «Climate Change and Adaptation in Ecosystems and Societies,» part of the Bachelor of Engineering for Environment and Territory program.
