The programme, in Spanish, provides critical scientific bases from a transdisciplinary perspective on climate change and its interrelationships with biodiversity, ecosystem services and human well-being. It provides also the state-of-the-art technical tools for the study and evaluation of the spatio-temporal dynamics of biodiversity, ecosystem services and socio-environmental systems and their vulnerability in scenarios of environmental and social change. It updates professionals and prepare them on critical issues related to climate change, such as mitigation, adaptation, conservation of biodiversity and territorial planning, so that they can design and apply efficient public policies.
