The Constellation

For more than 10 years the international research group “Climate change, territories, diversities” (University of Padua) is leading a cross-cutting teaching and research program on Climate Justice.

The interdisciplinary research is based on investigating criteria for decarbonisation and fair energy transition policies, by adopting the concept of “unburnable carbon” to protect human rights andbiodiversity. The team is internationally active on this issue by promoting initiatives and by connecting different universities, civil society, communities, and institutions.

This passionate work built up a constellation of initiatives combining research, teaching, dialogue and engagement with civil society.
