About the Speaker
Claudia Korol is a journalist, activist, feminist from Argentina, one of the founders of the collective of popular education Pañuelos en Rebeldía, active in the Centro de Investigación y Formación de Movimientos Sociales Latinoamericanos. She collaborates in political training courses with social movements, farmers and women’s organisations. She coordinated the popular education team of the Popular University Madres de Plaza de Mayo (UPMPM). Among her books, it has been published in Italian by Edizioni Capovolte ‘Le rivoluzioni di Berta’ ; another Claudia’s key work is ‘Somos tierra, semilla, rebeldía. Mujeres, tierra y territorio en América Latina’ (GRAIN-Acción por la Biodiversidad-América Libre, 2016)
